How do I book services?

Projects are booked on a first come, first serve basis. If you’re ready to move forward, you may schedule a consultation, and submit a deposit where applicable, or simply book online. When we begin your project, we will send you a contract for your review and signature, as well as an invoice for your project (less the fee from your initial deposit). We recommend you first view our services and pricing page and then contact us when you're ready to begin.

How long does it take to create a design project?

The timeframe of a design project varies depending on the scope of the project. If you have a deadline in mind, we will do our best to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a design projects is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.

Who owns the copyright for work you have done for me?

Copyright is yours upon receipt of final payment. We do, however, reserve the right to use any work for promotional purposes and include our “Site by” at the bottom of your website in a discreet manner. All stock photography used in websites, brochure or other promotional material is licensed to Porterie Web Design through stock account. Those images may be purchased if needed.

Will I have a say in the design process?

Absolutely. Our goal is to please you. We can’t do that without your input. If there are other sites with a design style that you would like to emulate, we can do that. If you have a logo or brand collateral that you’d like us to work around, that’s no problem. We’ll be sure your new design will be a consistent and integral part of your overall brand.

I need something designed yesterday. Can you help me?

We can usually accommodate your rush job depending on how full our production schedule is. There may also be a rush fee applied to your invoice. Call or email  us to find out.

How will I receive my design project once it is finished?

A finished project is yours upon receipt of final payment. At your request, we will supply the electronic files to you via e-mail. With most design projects, you'll receive your file in EPS (vector), jpeg, png, and pdf. Our logo design can be used to complete stationery and brand marketing – including business card, letterhead, envelopes, brochure design, websites, graphics for websites, direct mail design, email marketing, mailing labels, presentation folders, and any other designs your business may require.
